Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) launched a devoted line of WhatsApp for citizens to file complaints related to waste in the city.
Residents can send all waste -related complaints, including blackspots, storage of construction and waste for fragments and irregular waste collection, as a message to WhatsApp with photos to 9448197197.
Deputy Main Minister and Minister of Development Bengaluru DK Shivakumar during the Environment Day celebrations 5th June announced a reserved line for complaints related to waste.
A statement BBMP issued on Thursday stated that complaints can be made on the list of BBMP 1533, the official website of the BBMP www.bBMP.gov.in and Namma Bengaluru Sahaya App 2.0, in addition to WhatsApp.
