In the city’s 10 -day cleanliness, which entered his second day, Bruhhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) cleaned 3,570 tones of waste and building residues from 458 seats.
The effort is covered by all eight BBMP zones, while the Zonal Commissioners supervise Earth’s operations. Bangalore Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML) employees are actively involved in every location to ensure effective waste removal.
Within the campaign, 1,533 seats with accumulated waste were identified – from debris and demolition (C&D) to road records and garbage. The check -in has already been completed to 30% of these places. More than 13 JCB, 10 tips, 60 tractors and 170 employees were deployed throughout the city.
BBMP urged citizens to delay the ejection of waste in public areas and instead passed the waste to BBMP’s car tips. Residents who see illegal dumping are recommended to report it through the BBMP help (1533) or the mobile app Sahay 2.0.
