In Vijayawada, Chidambarama took part in a program held on the 13th anniversary of the death of the revolutionary and poet KG Satyamurtha (Sivasagar). On this occasion he also published Telugu translation of his book “Unroot Hindutva”.
Mr. Thirumavalavan said that the Constitution guarantees society that is without inequalities, and therefore Hindutva’s forces consider it an obstacle to the way to create a “Hindu Rashtra”.
“The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bharatiya Party are to make the Hindu Rashtra, where there will be one religion, one culture and one language. Then they defend themselves for one country and one side.
He said it was necessary for everyone to follow the principles of freedom, equality and brotherhood anchored in the constitution.
He admired Satyamurty as someone who steadily fought for the rights of the oppressed.
