The government Andr Pradesh announced a new lawyer policy of 2025–28 and introduced reforms aimed at ensuring transparency, social justice and financial sustainability in lawyer operations. It also expanded the timing, which made it possible to function from 10:00 to 12 midnight.
Nishant Kumar, a commissioner for prohibition and excise duty, explained on a press meeting held in the office of the Commissioner in Mangalagiri on Monday that in the new framework, informed through GO Mrs. No. 275 of August 13, 2025, the state set the number of colors at 840, winning another 10% for Geetha Kulala).

This policy repairs the license period at the age of three, from September 1, 2025 to 31. All categories use an annual increase of 10%.
Fees can be paid in six installments, one installment was provided by a banking warranty.
The bars will be allowed in city local authorities and announced tourist centers, with the exception of religious destinations. The provisions on expansion to industrial corridors, metropolitan development areas and seasons were also made in the future. In Tirupati, however, strict restrictions were stored, while the bars were concealed along the routes leading to Alipiri and Tirumal.
Officials stressed that the new structure of the license fees is kept under the retail store licenses, which ensures long -term viability and predictability for the operator. As they said, they would avoid the problem of free licenses and quoted 44, which were delivered even after re -preparation in 2022–23.
Mr. Nishant Kumar said that the new Bar Policy 2025–28 is a decisive step towards transparency, inclusiveness and sustainability. He stressed that the framework provides equal opportunities for both established operators and new participants, while maintaining basic businesses viable and responsible in Andhra Pradesh.
