Preparations for the Copa del Rey finals between Barcelona and Real Madrid turned dramatically the day before the match that will be played on Saturday 26 April. Madrid intervened against the referees who are going to participate in the final match of the tournament and accused the referee and hostility “to the club.
Madrid urged the Spanish FA to act against officials, and even boycotted the usual press conference the day before the finals. The controversy intervened when Ricardo de Burgos’s judge organized an emotional press conference before the match and criticized TV Real Madrid for focusing on the previous decision adopted on the football field.
De Burgos expressed his anxiety about creating such a video package, and said, “When a child arrives at school and his friends tell him that his father is a thief, you are a disease.”
He continued to emphasize his integrity and challenge that many officials, in professional football and local level.
“What I do is try to educate your son to tell him that his father is an honest man, that he makes mistakes like any other athlete. It’s very difficult, I don’t recommend anyone.

Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes, a VAR official for Saturday’s final, who was sitting next to De Burgos, said that the referees would soon take steps due to the continuous pressure he faced.

Real Madrid is offended
Real Madrid noted the references at a press conference and hit a statement on Friday, the day before the final, he said that the referee’s statement was made with the intention of “threatening”.
