The Jamm and Kashmir Assembly on Monday summoned a special session and last week the resolution condemning a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. At least 26 people were killed by an attack that occurred on April 22.
The resolution was moved by the representative of the main Minister Surinder Choudhary Jammu and Kashmir during a special meeting of the Assembly, which began with members who watched two minutes of silence to pay tribute to those who were killed in tragedy last week.
‘Barbaric’
In Monday’s Assembly, Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, he said: “This house expresses its deep shock and anxiety over the barbarian and inhuman attack committed on innocent civilians in Pahalgam on April 22.”
“This house clearly condemns a nasty, cowardly act that resulted in a loss of innocent lives, he said.
Coudhary quoted a resolution and said: “Such terrorist acts are a direct attack on the ethos of Kashmryit, values anchored in our constitution and the spirit of unity, peace and harmony that have long characterized Jamma and Kashmir and our nation.”
“This house stands in full solidarity with victims and their families,” he said. “We are expanding our deepest condolences to those who have suffered an irreparable loss and confirm our collective determination to share their grief and support them in an hour of need,” he added.
“Syed’s Syeda Adil Hussain Shah”
The resolution also mentioned the “highest victim” of the driving operator by Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who laid his life and tried to save tourists from a terrorist attack.
“His courage and non -generality embody the true spirit of Kashmir and serve as a lasting inspiration for future generations,” Choudhary said.
“This house praises people of Kashmir and Jammu for extraordinary manifestations of unity, compassion and resistance due to attack.
‘Ominous design’
The resolution mentioned the approval of the diplomatic measures of the Assembly announced by the Center after meeting the Cabinet Safety Committee, the day after the terrorist attack of Pahalgam.
“This house supports diplomatic measures announced by the Government of the Union 23.
“It appeals to all parts of society, and especially the media, so that it does not have the victims of this ominous conspiracy by an irresponsible passion. The need to remain united in the face of this experimental division cannot be emphasized,” he added.

He appealed to all countries and trade union areas to ensure the safety, dignity and well -being of students and citizens of Kashmir who lived there or travel there, and to take all the necessary measures to prevent their harassment, discrimination or intimidation.
“This house invites all political parties, religious and community leaders, youth organizations, groups of civil society and media houses across the country to maintain peaceful, rejection of violence and dividing rhetoric and together to comply with peace, unity and constitutional values,” said the resolution.
