
The bank employee was reportedly robbed of a bag containing 40 ₹ Lakh per daylight in Pantheerancav in Kozhikode on Wednesday (June 11, 2025). The defendant reportedly stated cash after he was pretending to seek the assistance of the employee in obtaining the golden ornaments he committed to the bank. As soon as the money containing the money seized, he reportedly fled the scooter.
According to Aravind police, an employee at a private bank in Ramanattukar, he arrived at Pantheerankav on Wednesday around 13:00 with £ 40 Lakh on the basis of a request for help Shibin Lal, a native of Kimbalam near Mankav. Shibin Lal reported the bank that it had gold worth 51 GBP Lakh at the bank in Pantheerankav and that it needs another amount of 40 lakh to get it. He also promised that once gold was loaded, he would be transferred to the bank. He also shared a picture of the card as proof that he had committed himself in the bank.
Meanwhile, the police launched the Pantheerankava investigation. They found that the card shared by Lal was fake.
