His remarks came days after Bangladesh chief advisors Mohammed Yunus told a group of political parties that the Indian “hegemony” was “destabilizing” Bangladesh.
“As far as the government is concerned, responsibility for the law and order and problems with the management lies in this government,” Jaiswal said. “In such a situation, if someone says that external factors or someone else are to blame for disorders, they seem to try to distract from the real problem and move the blame to others. Such statements will not solve the problem – it seems to be an attempt to avoid responsibility,” he added.
Parties require early elections
Yunus’s comments were made during a two -day consultation, which he hosted in his official residence last weekend, where he met a large number of representatives of political parties who demand early elections. According to Mahmudur Rahman Manny, president of the newly created party called Nagorik Oikya, prof. Yunus referred to India during their meeting.
“The main advisor said that the country is in a major crisis due to Indian hegemony. They believe that the whole nation must remain united in response,” Mr. Manna told reporters outside the official residence of prof. Yunus.
“Humanitarian Corridor”
Consultation with political parties was called after the CEO of Bangladesh Army Waker-Zeman organized a meeting with his commanding officers, where he criticized the administration led by prof. Yunus, and demanded that the national elections be held by December so that the new elected government could be 1 January 2026.
One of the problems that General Zaman has raised is the so -called “humanitarian corridor” on which Yunus’s administration works on the interconnection of Rakhine province with Bangladesh Chittagong with conflict conflict.

Mr. Jaiswal said India wanted to have a “positive and constructive relationship” with the interim government of Bangladesh and noted that India carefully monitors the development of the “humanitarian corridor” project.
