Bangladeshi International Criminal Tribunal (ICT) on Sunday formally accused former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and two others for several accusations, including mass murder, in connection with their alleged violent intervention against protests led by students who rocked the nation last year.
The three judge of the bench Iict realized the accusation after the prosecutors accused Hasin and her former colleagues of using brutal power against the protesters.
“We are hereby paying fees,” said the bench of three ICT judges, PTI said.
Proceedings against Hasina broadcast on national television
The Proceedings of the Tribunal, broadcast for the first time on national television in the country’s history, refers to the beginning of Hasin’s court in absence – almost ten months after its release.
