From August 29, a three -day rally from Bandipur to Bidar will be organized as part of the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” observed by the Ministry of Social Justice and the authorization of the Union.
The aim of the Assembly is to raise awareness of the poor impact of alcohol and drug abuse and promote drug -free society, according to Navin Raj Singh, the main secretary, the ministry of strengthening the position of youth and sport, the Karnatak government, in a press release.
The event is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Strengthening the position of youth and sport, forest department, scheme of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and NCC. Twenty cyclists selected from the public will participate. Awareness programs will be carried out in schools, universities and public places across the main districts on the route.
The officials for the initiative include Navin Raj Singh, Manoj Kumar, other main main conservator of the forest and the main secretary (forests), R. Ravishankar, the main conservator of the forest (development), S. Prabhan, forest representative and director, Bandipur Tiger Reserve; and Sarfaraz Khan, a private secretary of the Minister for Housing, Waqf and Minority well -being, along with other higher officers.
Biker Nandini Mithun will also participate in the rally to inspire his youth through his experience.
The hammocks will join on various stops to lectures lectures and reports and motivate young people to keep away from the abuse of addictive substances. The aim of the state government is to spread awareness and work on building healthy and without drugs, he added.
