Bandi Sanjay Kumar Jan Aushadi Kendra (Generic Medical Store) was launched by Union Home Minister for Home Affairs at Mukarampura Doctor’s Street in Karimnagar on Saturday (March 21, 2026).
The ECHS deputation has been set up under the central government’s Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana programme, a press release said.
The initiative is aimed at providing quality generic medicines at much lower prices compared to market prices. Karimnagar Mayor K. Srinivas and several other corporators of the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation were present among others.
