BJP MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi rejected the news that he would attack the elections to the central cooperative company of the Belagavi district and call them false and unfounded.
“I will certainly not compete. Such reports are far from true. However, one of our team will compete and win the elections scheduled for October. Members of our team will join the Board of Directors,” said former KMF chairman on Thursday.
A few months ago, the Bank’s Board of Directors moved a proposal for trust to change the chairman of the bank. Ramesh Katt, a former deputy, was replaced by Appasaheb Kulgude, a well -known supporter of the brothers Jarkiholi. This was seen as a result of the differences between factions, including former MP Annasaheb Jolle and the Katti family. The term Mr. Kulgude ends in October. BDCC policy has spread several times in the past to influence the policy of the Belagavi district and subsequently to the state.
Balachandra Jarkiholi, the director of the bank, did not express the news that the Mla Laxman Savadi’s Congress sought to lead the bank. He only said that several MLA sought to lead the largest creditor to farmers in the district.
“Everyone is welcome to the competition. We are not playing politics over it. It may be one of the different parties, but it will not prevent them from attacking elections or victory. We find that there is no party policy in the bank,” he said.
He rejected the news that BDCC had provided unsecured loans for sugar factories owned by his brother and former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi. “DCC Bank provided a loan of 160 GBP Crore Laxmi Narayan Society. We took its 330 GBP Crore as security. If the loan is not repaid in eight years,” he said.
