Muslims in Tiruch celebrated id-ul-zha (Bakrid) with a great enthusiasm with congregation prayers and the distribution of sacrificial meat between the family, friends and the need for the main part of the festivities.
Congregation prayers took place in mosques and open areas around the city early in the morning. Prayers on Earth near Uzhavar Sandhai in Tennur, among other places, took part in a large number of men, women and children.
The sale of sacrificial animals remained brisk despite the increase in prices this year.
The QURBANI ritual (victim) took place after prayer ID, which means the end of the pilgrimage Haj. Many residents decided to have animals sacrificed in butcher shops to save time.
Families gathered at ceremonial banquets with chefs who were called to prepare a large number of biryan rice and other delicacies as an accompaniment.
Id-ul -zha emphasizes the importance of sharing and empathy for less privileged, religious leaders said.
