Muslims gathered in various mosques throughout the city and on Saturday they prayed Mark Id-ul-Azha.
One of the largest gatherings in Idgah Maidan in Tilak Nagar and Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulan Mohammed Usman Shariff made prayers. He explained the importance of the Bakrid festival and said that he commemorated the victim of the prophet Ibrahim of his son.
After prayers, people exchanged greetings and pleasure. Higher members and community leaders were present. Mla for Narasimharaja Tanveer Sait offered prayers in the Cutchi Memon mosque on the Ashoka road, and there was also a hard rush in the city.
