
The leaders of the Church, Laity members and politicians across the civil spectrum in Keraral on Saturday after a special court in Chhattisgarh issued a bail into a court prison in Durg’s central imprisonment on trafficking and forced people to convert in Chhattisgarh.
Local coercive bodies arrested nuns, preeti Mary and Vandana Francis, after Bajrang activists, Vishwa Hindu Parisad’s youth wing, harassed nurses at the Durg railway station and accused them of trying to curse three tribal women with agra.
Archbishop Joseph Mar Pamplany, Indian Communist Party (Marxist) (CPI (M)) Secretary General Ma Baby, leader of the opposition VD Satheesan and Indian Union Muslim League (iuml) National Secretary General of PK Kunhalikutty said that Jeptine struggles were just half-day.
The leaders said that nothing less than the abolition of a “false case” would satisfy the principles of secularism, religious freedom, protection of minorities and freedom of movement. The conditions of the deposit set by the court excluded nuns in speaking to the media or leave the country. The court also ordered the nuns to appear fourteen days before the investigation agency, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which investigates trading in people, a planned crime with severe punishments and reduced chances on bail.
The leaders across the political aisle threw themselves to welcome the nuns on the monastery attached to the nearby church of Viswadeepam Senior high school and celebrated their release by sweetness distributions.
“An obstacle to a blow to a bail”
Political bonhomy, however, seemed short -term, while Congress and CPI (M) turned on the side of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) Keral President Rajeev Chandrasekhar for allegedly establishing the political theater before prison and opposition leader from Kerala.
The leader of the CPI (m) John Brittas, a deputy, disrupted that Mr. Chandrasekhar resorted to the absurd theater by reflection of the BJP to the Church to ensure the release of nuns and a public spectacle to accompany the sister into the convent.
“Words, deeds don’t match”
Congress legislator Chanda Oommen stated that there was a dichotomy between the words and the acts of the BJP leaders. “BJP social media are processing pictures of congress leaders in CHHhattisgarh,” he said.
The edition of the nurses limited the week of social anxiety and extended protests in Kerala. The delegation called for more parties in prison and expressed support. The ruling front and opposition deputies from Kerala emphasized nuns for justice in both houses of parliament. Chief Minister Pinaraya Vijayan wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who demanded justice for nuns. Mr. Chandrasekhar was lobbying during the reign of central and Chhattisgarh to persuade the prosecution so that the plaintiffs would not have a bail against him.
