New Delhi: Former Captain Pakistan Zheer Abbas suggested that Babar Azam, who is currently fighting in shape, could be either too egoistic or too shy to seek the advice of experienced players.
Zahreer, scoring 100 first -class central centuries, emphasized the importance of Babar Consulting with higher players to deal with technical deficiencies during his launching.

“I think either Babar Azam has a problem with the ego, or it is too shy to seek advice from his seniors to overcome his current situation,” Zheer said, as PTI quoted.
In 2016, he quoted examples like Youenis Khan, who was looking for advice from Mohammad Azharuddin, and Azharuddin consulted Zahreer during the Indian tour of Pakistan in 1989-90.
Zahreer noted the change of Babar’s attitude, suggesting that it has become more closed and potentially caused problems with timing and premature release.
“In 2016, Youounis Khan spoke to Muhammad Azharuddin and continued in England with a score of double hundreds. I also remember how Azharuddin was looking for leadership from me on an Indian tour to Pakistan in 1989-90,” he added. “He was trying to find runs and I told him to change his toss grip. Saeed Anwar was looking for advice Sunil Gavascar.”
