
Air India crash: Gujaratian Interior Minister Harsh Sanghavi on Saturday provided the latest updates to identify the Air India air accident victims and said that 19 DNA samples were met on the day on the day.

He said the authorities confirm the identity of other victims.
“DNA comparison progress: So far, 19 DNA samples have been compared, confirming the identity of the victims,” Sanghavi wrote.
As part of the ongoing effort, forensic teams work overnight to match multiple DNA samples, the Minister said.
“The ongoing effort: the Unit Team Forsic Science Labodation (FSL) and the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) teams work at night to match more DNA samples,” he said.
At the beginning of the day, the AHMEDABAD Civil Hospital said they stated that they identified 11 victims of the Air India accident when their DNA samples were equal.
“DNA from 11 victims of the Ahmedabad air accident has so far matured with relatives,” said Dr. Rajnish Patel, a professor of surgery on BJ Medical College.
The civil hospital will contact families as soon as the DNA match is found and should not rush to the hospital, he added.

On Saturday, the fatal remains of one victim of aerial accident were handed over, while the remains of two other victims would be handed over by the end of the day, Patel said.

Up to 230 teams were created to coordinate with families and relatives of 11 foreign nationals who died in the tragedy were contacted, said Alok Pandey, embossed commissioner and secretary of Gujarat.
