
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Air India aircraft crash on Thursday in Ahmedabad.
The day after a deadly accident, which killed at least 265 people aboard and on earth, she expanded his condolences to President Droubadim Murm and Prime Minister Narendr Modi.

Years “doomed” that killed many
According to PTI, at least 265 people lost their lives on Thursday when the Air India -linked aircraft bound into the Faculty of Medicine in Ahmedabad and burst into a fireball after takeoff.
Air India bound to London carried 242 passengers and crews. Among the dead were 241 on board and 24 from the Faculty of Medicine, on which the aircraft crashed. Only 1 passenger managed to “miraculously” survived the impact of the explosion. The surviving, Vishwas Kumar Ramesh, who is a British citizen of Leicester, sat near the emergency east that helped in his rapid and safe departure from the damaged level, PTI informed.
The AI-171 had 169 Indians on board, 53 British, one Canadian and seven Portuguese nationals, except for 12 crew members, according to Air India on X (formerly Twitter).
