“At the moment, our primary focus is on the support of all affected people and their families. We do everything we do to help teams reaction to emergency situations and provide all necessary support and care to those who have been affected.”
Air India chairman said the emergency center was activated and a support team for families seeking information was established.
Air India also issued a statement after the tragic incident of the aviation India. In the paper on X, Air India said: “Flight AI171, operating Ahmedabad-London Gatwick, was now involved in the incident, 12 June 2025. We are currently finding out the details and share other updates first on our X handle (httpps: //x.com/Airindia).”
The General Directorate for Civil Aviation said the team was rushed to the investigation.
“On June 12, 2025, Air India B787 Aircraft VT-Anb, while the AI-171 Opening Flight from Ahmedabad to Gatwick, crashed immediately after takeoff from Ahmedabad. There were 242 people on board, consisting of 2 pilots and 10 on-board guides.”
