The autorickshaw drivers’ union on Wednesday decided to hold a Chalo rally program on January 3, demanding that the Telangana government fulfill its assurances given to the drivers.
In a round table meeting, the Joint Action Committee of the Telangana Auto Drivers Association demanded that the government take steps to ensure that the issues faced by auto workers are raised in the Legislative Assembly and the Council. They also sought an immediate increase in the minimum fare in the automatic meter.
