Coach Pandjab Kings Ricky Ponting revealed two main peaks from Priyansh Arya’s 103 OFF 42 balls against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday 8 April. Priyansh scored the fastest hundreds of IPL and became the eighth impartial player to hit the century in the tournament.
One hundred of the dill of the dough was the difference as PBKS beat CSK 18 runs. After the match, Ponting had a speech of the dressing room, where he discussed what was for the team, and he appreciated SHASHANK SINGH, Marco Jansen and Lockie Ferguson for their roles in victory. He began an interview with Priyansho and his knocking and pointed out how the 24-year-old managed to bounce back after he was released on the first ball in the previous RR game.

PBKS coach was glad that Priyansh hit six of the first ball in CSK and said it was the attitude that teams wanted to have. Ponting also appreciated the young man for holding his games, despite what had happened in the previous game.
“I was around many cricket games. I didn’t see much knocking than what I saw this evening. Priyansh, 103 out of 42. There are two things I want to emphasize. You got the first game of the first ball and the first ball tumped 100 meters over a point for six.”
“It says a lot about you and the attitude we all want to have. You showed this attitude to everyone today. No matter what happened in the last game, if you started, you held on your games. You have attitude to put him back to the pitch of the first ball.
“We haven’t played our best cricket yet”
Despite victory and so far 3-1 in the IPL 2025 season, Ponting feels that PBK still has to play their perfect game.
“We’re 3-1 right now. I still don’t think we played anywhere near the perfect cricket game. It will come if we work hard,” Ponting said.
PBKS will continue to travel to Hyderabad to face another.
