Authorities promote restrictions
In addition to off the authorities, they reduced the following activities within one km radius from tourist locations:
- Litter, especially plastic waste

Officials have explained that these restrictions are not new, but are enforced according to existing security and environmental regulations. Anyone who has found that he violates these rules will face strict legal measures, warned officials, informed Pune Pulse.
Major Secretary Maharashtra is aimed at maintaining places susceptible to risk outside the tourist limits
Last week, the main secretary of Maharashtra Sujat Saunik said that tourists’ safety must be preferred during the monsoon and dangerous or risk sites should be temporarily closed.
“During the monsoon, tourists come to some places in large numbers. Administration must be vigilant in these places. To avoid loss of life, safety should be reinforced in places where there is a danger, and if necessary tourists should be temporarily prohibited,” Saunik said.
The main secretary of the Saunik also ordered officials to assign responsibilities, with the main focus on priority of public security. He also recommended to seek support from the home guard and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) to help effectively take safety measures.
The public work department (PWD) was also upset to conduct bridges along the roads. He stressed that old or damaged bridges and new built should be repaired, where it is necessary to ensure structural safety from the monsoon, PTI said.
