
In the good news for Bombaikary, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) expanded the timing of metro services in Bombai on line 2a and line 7 to midnight to address more rushing during the GANPATI festival season.
Line 2a or yellow line runs from Dahisar (east) to Andher (West), while line 7 (red line) runs between Dahisar (east) and gundavali in Andher (east).
According to MMRDA, the last train from both terminal stations, Andheri West (line 2a) and Gundavali (line 7), leaves during the 10 -day festival at 12:00 at 12:00 instead of usual 11:00.
“During this period, trains will take place more often during the top hours of the working day and on Sunday with 10 minutes of progress, ensuring safe, reliable and comfortable travel for all,” said MMRDA chief Sanjay Mukherjee in a statement.
Maha Mumbai Metro Operations Corporations Limited (MMMOCL) will operate a total of 317, of which 12 other services on two lines between Monday and Friday with a gap of 5 minutes 50 seconds and 9 minutes 30 seconds during non-spike hours.
