Attempting to Midnight theft of the National Bank ATM Pandjab (PNB) near the Punnunnam railway station was confused after the security alarm warned the police and officials of the bank in time.
The incident occurred on Sunday around 12:30, when the CCTV shots caught a masked man approaching the ATM counter from the direction of the railway station. The suspect reportedly tried to open a cash machine using a metal cutter.
However, as soon as he began to manipulate an ATM, a built -in security alarm was launched, which immediately warned the police and manager of the bank. The thief frightened by the siren fled from the scene before he could steal any money.
Police teams threw themselves into the place and gathered forensic evidence and CCTV shots for analysis. Investigations are underway.
