
The response to the recent prelude to Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif to “Peace Interviews” with India, including anti -terrorism, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) firmly repeated the long -term position of India.
During the weekly press conference Mea Randhir Jaiswal stressed that the approach of a new Delhi to Islamabada remains “clear and consistent” – that terrorism and interviews “cannot go hand”.
Randhir Jaiswal said, “I would like to start by saying that our bilateral approach to Pakistan was clear and consistent. We want to repeat that terrorism and interviews cannot go hand in hand.”
He stressed that any interview on terrorism must begin by passing Pakistan terrorists from the list that India shared years ago. He said that any bilateral interviews would only happen on the timeline and Pakistan process to release Pakistan Kashmir (POK).

“As far as terrorism is concerned, the discussion will only be that Pakistan gives India a terrorist from the list they provided them a few years ago. As far as Jammu and Kashmir are concerned, all bilateral conversations will only take place about the time and Pakistan process.
What did Shehbaz Sharif said?
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who focuses on a joint press conference in Tehran together with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, said: “We want to resolve all disputes, including the problem of Kashmir and the problem of water, and we are also ready to talk to our neighbor about trade and anti -terrorism.”
The Pakistani Prime Minister also stressed that the country would show that “they really want peace, seriously and honestly” if his “peace offer” is accepted.
India firmly claimed that “terror and conversations” could not go together.
