Veteran actor Dimple Kapadia has left many people on the internet in awe of his shiny long hair. The 68-year-old actor was seen traveling on an Indigo flight when one of the crew members shot a video with her.

In a 2021 interview with Vogue India, Kapadia shared the benefits of her simple hair care routine that helps her manage her very dry, thick and coarse hair.
She shared her home remedy: “Having it goes a long, long way. I massage my hair overnight, then I do a scalp massage with a homemade hair pack that’s a mixture of eggs (5 egg whites and a whole egg) and a banana. I leave it on for 10-30 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water… the habit of oiling was prevalent throughout my childhood and I always had very dry hair without styling it. I’ve had it for years, it wouldn’t look so shiny and shiny.’
Homemade hair oil
The actor also shared a customized hair oil blend that he recommends. She swears by the benefits of onion extract oils.
“My secret hair oil recipe is a blend of almond and sandalwood oils as a base, with geranium, rosemary and lavender essential oils. This is the legacy I will pass on to my grandchildren – oil your hair and don’t dye it…onion juice is great for hair, but I think the safer option is to use the onion extract oils you get now.”
Apart from medication, Dimple Kapadia also believes in the power of a balanced diet. She shared that one needs to ‘include a lot of protein in your diet, eat balanced meals and include seeds and nuts’ to keep your hair healthy.
