The minimum entity will be implemented in classes V, VI and VII since the academic year 2025-26, said the Minister of General Education V. Sivankutty.
On Wednesday, he spoke about the state inauguration of the distribution of textbooks at state level.
The Minister stated that the decision to expand the minimum of the subject to higher basic classes came due to the reactions of students, parents and teachers after the introduction of the class in class VIII in the academic year 2024-25 and the extension of corrective learning to those who did not provide 30% of stamps in each subject in the written exam.
The government has already announced that the subject of the minimum will be implemented for classes VIII and IX in the academic year 2025-26 and for classes VIII on X since 2026-27 years.
The textbooks were revised with regard to the latest progress in science and technology. Teachers were given training by accepting new teaching methods that integrated developing technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics.
The Minister said more than 3 CRORE textbooks were ready for distribution. After the introduction of new textbooks for classes I, III, V, VII and IX in the academic year 2024-25, textbooks for classes II, IV, VI, VIII and X were also revised. 443 new textbooks were developed. Class X textbooks reached IX students right after the tests at the end of the year.
This year, a comprehensive quality educational program was introduced to ensure that each student achieved the results of learning expected for their class.
The Minister also published “Krunnezhuthukal”, compilation of selected items of the class of students of class and in state schools he edited.

Shaiju of the CMS LPS, Ponkunnam, received a book from the Minister on behalf of Students who wrote Diry Inputs, including those in the book, Broought Out by Misioikanam Mission.
In addition to the diary items, the reactions of teachers and parents are included in the book.
