The Electric SUV offers two battery options: 49kWh and 61kWh, with a larger battery available in the AWD (Allgrip-E) double engine configuration. In the near future, further details and timeline of the opening in India are expected.
The initial price for an electric SUV is expected to be approximately £20 lakh, ex-showroom. E-Vita will go against competitors such as Mahindra Be6, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV and others, informed NDTV.
Maruti Suzuki exported over 3.32 lakh vehicles and sold 19.01 lakh units on the home market in FY25 due to an annual capacity of 2.6 million units across four Indian plants.
Now, with Hansalpur, India can serve as a global Suzuki production center for electric vehicles.
