In a cold turnover of events 45 -year -old astrologer reportedly harassed a 25 -year -old university student when a woman went to a person with a horoscope of her brother.
The incident occurred in the office of astrologer Akhilesh Laxman Rajguru in the Dhankawadi area, police officials said.
How did the incident happen?
The police said the woman initially left her brother with the horoscope. The astrologer – Rajguru – reportedly told the woman that she had to give her a specific item and asked her to return the next day.
“When she came back, the astrologer bothered her,” said Deputy Commissioner Milind Mohite.
After the student’s complaint, the astrologer was arrested.
The case according to sections 74 (outrage of the modesty of the woman) and 78 (persecution) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit and the provisions of the Black Magic Act was registered and another probe is underway, DCP said.

A similar case was also reported in Pimpri Chinchwad last month, where the police arrested a separately declared godfather for allegedly practicing black magic, cheating on people and secretly watching them via a mobile phone, the police official headed.
According to police officials, accused, Prasad Bhimrao Tamdar (29) would ask their visitors to download the application on their mobile phones, which would give him access to their phones. He would then ask his visitors to participate in sexual deeds with women, including sex workers, and secretly watch on his phone.
