
The anti -corruption office (ACB) Sleuths on Monday captured the assistant director of Agriculture U. Narsimha Rao Redrous, while allegedly received a bribe of 25,000 GBP from the fertilizer shop owner in his office in Kothagudéma in the district of Bhadradri Kothagudém.
According to ACB sources, the defendant officer allegedly demanded a bribe from the owner of the fertilizer shop in the village of Bangaruchilka in Palvancha Mandal and quoted “violations” of certain norms concerning the sale of urea. Reportedly insisted on paying a bribe by the store owner to stop the cancellation of the trade license.
He was imprisoned by ACB officials while accepting a bribe from the complainant in his office. It was taken into custody and the amount of bribe was obtained from its ownership.
