Gururajachar was arrested on the basis of a complaint by the Congress Committee on the Bengalur West division after the truncation of the video became viral, the officials said.
The notes were associated with the decision of the state government to invite the winner of the Booker Prize Ban Mushtaq to start this year’s Dasara festival.
