Sixteen -year -old survivors of the sexual abuse of Nadal Children, along with a note of gratitude to the subordinate police inspector Assam for helping her erase her class 10 exams.
The girl said she had grown up with the perception that all police staff were bad, but changed her mind after she came across Pratibha Bora from the Satgaon police station in Guwahati.
The sub-in-inch helped the girl overcome her trauma and look at life ahead.
“If every police (male or woman) are like Pratibha Baideo (older sister), children like me get a lot of help,” he wrote the survivors, adding that she had found hope, strength and inspiration from a woman in uniform to find a purpose in her life.
“I want to become a policeman like she,” the girl wrote.
“Feedback from children and their families is essential in assessing the impact of the ground impact of the Assam Police Sishu Mitra program, allowing a deeper understanding of its effectiveness and improvement areas,” said Miguel Das Queah, founder of UTSAH Children’s Rights, UTHAH Child Rights.
Fourteen -year -old Utsah is expanding to a universal social action team and assistance that together with Assam Police together with UNICEF Assam to help children in need.
The Sishu Mitra program started in 2019 with the aim of promoting the police in Assam.
