Bimal Borah, Minister of Industry and Assam, visited family members of Manjunath Rao on Sunday, the inhabitants of Shivamoggy, who died in the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, and handed over 5 Lakh to Raoin’s wife Pallavi R.
The Minister also handed over the letter written by the main Minister of Assam Himanty Bisw Sarma, and expressed his condolences for life loss.
In his letter, the main minister said that the whole Assam will stand with the Manjunath Rao family in grief. “No words can actually alleviate pain, and no part of help can ever compensate an irreparable loss,” he said. The main minister announced the amount of ex-Gratia from the Fund for Help CM.
Mrs. Pallavi and her son got a check. On this occasion, BJP leaders, including MLC DS ARUN, District President BJP NK Jagadish and others were present.
Manjunath Rao went to Kashmir with his wife Pallavi and son. He was killed during a terrorist attack in Pahalgam 22 April.
