Hyderabad MP Assaddin Owaisi tore the speech of the independence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he praised the praise of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and said that while China is an external threat to Earth, India faces greater danger from Sangh Parivar, which hate and divide.
When he took X on Friday, soon after the Tricolor building lifted near the Madin building, he said, “China remains our greatest external threat. But the greater danger lies inside – hatred and division spreads Sangh Parivar. We have to defeat all such forces to truly protect our freedom.”
Mr. Owaisi claimed that Hindutva was not in line with the spirit of the Indian Constitution. “The ideology of Hindutva believes in exclusion and is contrary to the values of our constitution. Modi could go to Nagpur to praise RSS as Swayamsevak, why did he have to turn it out of the red fortress as Prime Minister?” he asked.
He said that talking about RSS is a “insult to the fight for freedom” and claimed that RSS and his associated subjects are British legs. “They never joined the struggle for independence and hated Gandhi more than ever against the British,” he added.
“Mr. Modi reminded us again why it is necessary to learn real history and honor real heroes. If not, the day is not far from being sold as the highest form of bravery. RSS rejects the values of inclusive nationalism that motivated our freedom fighters,” he said.
