Asian Games, September 26 programme: India chases double kabaddi gold, athletics medals

India face a busy Day 8 at the Asian Games with several medal chances from the early hours. Sawan Barwal and Kartik Karkera will be in the men’s marathon final at 4:00 am IST, while the women’s 50m rifle 3-position team will be in action at 6:15 am. Further medal opportunities will follow in the Canoe Sprint where Raju Rawat and L Neha Devi will compete in the 500m Mixed Canoe A final.

Kabaddi will be one of the main attractions, with both Indian teams play matches for gold against Iran. The women take the court at 9:30 a.m., followed by the men at 2:30 p.m. Squash will also see Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar in the mixed doubles semi-finals, while Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh will feature in the singles semi-finals.
