Asian Games 2026: India’s Complete Schedule October 3; medal events and timing
India’s campaign at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan will enter its final day on Saturday with athletes competing in 10 events.Indian athletes will have several opportunities to add a medal, among those watching events in archery, cricket, hockey and wrestling. As the competition draws to a close for India, the athletes will want to finish on a high.Kumkum Mohod, who impressed in the team events, will try to transfer this form to the individual competition as well. Dhiraj Bommadevara will also be among India’s medal contenders in recurve archery.The Indian men’s hockey team will face Malaysia in the final, with a gold medal and direct qualification for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles at stake. India will look to perform better and finish on top.In the match, Antim Panghal and Amar Sehrawat will be among the Indian athletes looking to add to the country’s medal tally.The men’s cricket team will also be in action, taking on Pakistan in the gold medal match.Here is the complete schedule of Indian athletes at the 2026 Asian Games on Saturday, October 3:
- 5.30am: Archery – Kumkum Mohod vs Kang Chaeyoung of South Korea in the women’s individual quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals, bronze and gold matches (if she qualifies).
- 5:42 onwards: Taekwondo – Kashish Malik in women’s 57kg and Jyoti Yadav in women’s 67kg 16 matches followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and medal bouts (if they qualify).
- 6.20am: Rugby Sevens – India vs. Singapore in the women’s match at 5-8. place.
- From 6.30 am: Golf – Veer Ahlawat, Saptak Talwar and Yuvraj Sandhu in Men’s Individual and Team 4th Finals Day.
- From 6.43 am: Golf – Pranavi Urs, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar in the women’s individual stroke play and the 4th team round on the final day.
- 7.10am onwards: Sailing – Mahi Verma in the girls’ sculls final; Katya Ida Coelho in the women’s windsurfing finals.
- 7:23 AM: Match – Sagar Jaglan Vs. Tulga Tumur-Ochir of Mongolia in the 74 kg freestyle round of 16, followed by a rematch, quarter-final, semi-final and final (if she qualifies).
