India A kick off their Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 campaign by taking on the United Arab Emirates at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Friday 14
Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Priyansh Arya were among the star attractions as the young guns lined up to open the batting for India. The Indian XI, dominated by emerging talent from the Indian Premier League, also featured the likes of Naman Dhir, Jitesh Sharma, Nehal Wadhera and Ramandeep Singh.
UAE were led by Alishan Sharafu and fielded a talented first eleven to open the tournament.
With the good batting on offer in Doha, India did not hesitate and chose to bat first after winning the toss.
After losing Priyansh Arya early, India got off to a good start thanks to 14-year-old Vaibhav’s attacking start.
