Haris Rauf made it clear that Pakistani players were not influenced by a storm outside the field that surrounded their clash of the Asia Cup against the UAE, because the party led by Ali Aghou postponed uncertainty to ensure the bed in Super 4S.
The tension appeared above the accessories after the PCB filed several complaints with ICC, which required the removal of Andy Pycroft referee, after the Handshake’s nowadless controversy in India. ICC refused the application several times before Pycroft entered himself to clarify the team’s management and prepare the way to continue the match – even if with a delayed start.
For Rauf, however, none of this mattered as soon as he crossed the border rope.
“I didn’t feel any pressure. It has no control. This is a decision for advice; it’s their headache,” Rauf said at a press conference after the match. “For me I had to play a match, I focused on it. The leadership managed to do things quite well.”
A fast pitch, back in XI, played his role because Pakistan required the victory pulled out, while Shaheen Afridi led his way in a versatile show. It was a reaction that the team needed after India was comprehensively defeated at the tournament.
However, there are doubts about whether this aspect of Pakistan can indeed imitate the team of victory in the 2017 trophies, which overcame chaos to scripting the famous triumph.
“It’s not my domain talking about who plays and who doesn’t – that’s for coaches and captain,” Rauf said as he asked about parallels with this party. “As a player, if we get the opportunity, it’s up to us to make the most of the best. As for Batsmens, I’m sure they’re discussing things with each other. We have a few days before the next game, so hopefully we can prepare well.”
This next game is Blockbuster: Super 4 Showdown against Defense of India 21 Champions. September. After noise outside the field and failure at their first meeting, Pakistan will have to disperse firmly if they are to cause a turn.
