The opposition leader in the Assembly Ashok, who continued his reservation against the ongoing social and educational survey of the State Government, claimed that there was no urge to provide personal data in the survey.
Mr. Ashok said on Sunday Prespersons in Bengalur that people should answer only questions that seem appropriate. People should be careful about the survey, he said.
“It is not a social and educational survey. It is a survey of Chief Minister Siddaramaiaha, who refers to people. No one should provide personal documents. They ask people for various questions. Just answer the questions that can be answered.
He claimed that the Congress Government used a survey for political purposes. “The upcoming preparation of the state budget has become a headache for the main minister. There is no money at the Treasury and cancels rations. They need some evidence.
Meanwhile, President BJP of State President Vijayendra said that the party had to take any survey decisions. “In the survey religion column, everyone should mention the Hindu. This is our collective responsibility. Veerashaiva-Longayats, Vokkaligas, Dalits and backward communities should mention all the Hindus in a column of religion without confusion,” he said.
