The leader of the opposition in the legislative assembly of R. Ashok expressed concern about the drug mafia that increased the ugly head in Mysur.
On Monday, he spoke with reporters in Mysur and Mr. Ashok descended strongly on the state government for allowing the drug mafia to work in the state and seek details of the garage owner, which hid his production activity of narcotic drugs on the outer circular road in Mysuru.
It is wondering whether the home department was “live or dead” in Karnataka, Mr. Ashok remembered that at the beginning of this month the Maharashtra police had similarly charged the alleged drug pump from Kalaburagagi, who was allegedly assistant to the Minister of Rural and Panchayat Raj Priyank Kharge.
Regarding alleged drug production in Mysur, Mr. Ashok suspected of supporting local residents in illegal activity. Given that the government did not bother the situation and order in the state, Mysur, who is also the main Minister Siddaramaiah’s native district, became the center of the drug mafia, the leader of BJP said.
Referring to the MLC Yathindry Congress statement that Mr. Siddaramaiaha’s contribution to Mysuro was equal to Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, Mr. Ashok sarcastically said that Mr. Siddaramaiah, who was unable to develop a lake, let alone a reservoir of Krs, contributed to the “drug Mafia”.
Mr. Ashok said that Mr. Yathindra should compare Mr. Siddaramaiaha with former Prime Minister Jawahar Nezru or Gandhiji. “Then Congress would attack him and said he would bring him to the side,” said BJP leader.
