The accredited social health activists (Ashas), who were on an indefinite strike before the secretariat in the last 100 days, forced this opportunity by holding Aloft Flambeaus to emphasize the power of their agitation.
The poet Rosemary began protest by lighting the torch. ASHA representatives expressed their determination to continue the strike until their requirements were met.
Ashas, under the umbrella of the Association of Health Staff Keral Asha (Kahwa), have agitated since February and demand an increase in their honorary and pension benefits. During this period, their protest took several forms from the Assembly March and offered the Pongals tonsuring heads and represented the agitation of hunger. Ashas are now two weeks for a daily protest march from the barraragod.
The secretariat was chaired by a 100 -day protest meeting vice -president Kahwa S. Mini.
The chairman of the Congress Committee Keral Pradesh Sunny Joseph addressed the striking Ashas. Ashas also spoke.
Shafi Parambil, MP; PC VISHNUNATH and MATHEW KUZHALNADAN, MLA; District Congress Committee of Palode Ravi; Former Minister of Health VS Sivakumar; And other leaders of the Congress M. Liju, T. Sarathchandra Prasad and Kaimanam Prabhakaran; And the leader of the Congress Mahil Lakshmi spoke.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday before entering Thrissur, the daily protest march arrived at Palakkad.
The government recently introduced a five -member committee that studied Asha requirements and submitted a report within three months.
