The District Administration and the Chamundeshwari Temple Office have taken Ashada’s sophisticated measures on the top of the Chamundi hill for the second Friday’s rituals to facilitate the smooth Darshan for devotees who will be a hill from the first hours.
On the basis of feedback from the dedicated last Friday, the authorities organized a separate queue for devotees who climbed the hill up the stairs. This queue then connects to the “Dharma Darshan” front near the temple.
Expectations of the same time on Friday were planned special measures to ensure proper visit for all devoted.
According to the police, devotees who want to climb a hill this Friday can do so only between 5:00 and 6:00, and were asked to gather around 5 am, who arrive earlier, will not be allowed to start climbing.
The climb up the stairs will be closed at 6 am or vehicles near the stairs will not be allowed. Last week, many devotees gathered at 1 in the morning to climb the stairs.
The district administration said that about 15,000 devotees could stand in different fronts outside the temple on one section and everything will be allowed to enter the temple space for Darshan when it comes. Therefore, given the space available inside and outside the temple complex, devoted were invited to cooperate and follow the instructions to ensure safe and trouble -free Darshan.
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will provide free bus service from Foothill to the temple from early morning. Police staff, employees and volunteers were deployed for crowd management.
