The result keeps Canada in a strong position in the qualification of Americas, which takes place in Atlanta, USA from 7 to 17 August. Competition includes Argentina, Bermud, Canada and hosts the US. The best team will ensure a single place in the American Region at the U19 World Championship in 2026.
The 2026 tournament will be held in Namibia and Zimbabwe from January to February, while 16 teams compete in five places. The teams will be divided into four groups for the initial phase, followed by Super Six, semifinals and finals.
