Completion of a veteran communist leader and former main Minister of Vs Achuthanandan has left an emptiness for Kottakkal Arya Vaidy Sala, with whom he shared a close association. Achuthanandan had strong links with the highest leaders of Arya Vaidya Saly, including PK Warrier and P. Madhavankutty Varier, who held him in great respect.
Visits to Achuthanandan in Arya Vaidya Sala were countless. As a loyal patron of Arya Vaidya Sala, he regularly underwent rejuvenating therapy. As his health dropped, doctors Arya Vaidya Sala visited his residence with the equipment necessary for a longer medical session lasting two to three weeks.
“We have offered him treatment in his residence for about 10 years. Our doctors would borrow their services with the treatment taken from our Thiruvananthapuram branch,” said Arya Vaidya Salaja Madhavankutty.

Love remembered that Achuthanandan and the late PK Warrier developed a remarkable bond and created a lifelong camaraderie. “They were only three years old. Achuthanandan’s relationship with PK Warrier crossed the patient-dock.
The administrator and the chief physician of PM Paroda paid tribute to Achuthanandan and described his death as a loss to Arya Vaidya Sala. He also appreciated the tireless defense of the former main minister for disadvantaged.
