Hillang Yajik of Arunacal Pradesh created history by modifying 1 gold and 1 silver medals for India at 15.
With this remarkable performance, Yajik becomes the first female sports athlete from Arunacal Pradesh, who won the gold medal at the international level, which meant a proud moment for the state and the country.
In his statement, President Arunacal Bodybuilding Association (ABA) took the tuna of Yajik’s success and called him “remarkable not only for her individual success, but also for representing India on the global platform”.
The Championship organized by the Bhutan bodybuilding Association has witnessed the participation of several South Asian nations and was sanctioned by the world bodybuilding and sports federation (WBPF) and Asian bodybuilding and sports federation (ABPF).
Yajik’s success is expected to inspire a new generation of athletes from the northeast to pursue perfection in physical sports.
