Arsenal Winger Bukayo Saka will miss the Sunday clash of the Premier League with Liverpool after being expelled for up to four weeks. During Saturday’s 5-0 victories over Leeds United, a 23-year-old man was forced to injure Hamstring and threw a shadow over what the day of the statement at the Emirates stadium was.
The jacket scored Arsenal’s second goal and added to two goals Viktor Gyoker and Jurrien Timber. However, concerns grew rapidly as he descended down and clutched his hamstring at the beginning of the second half and grinned with obvious pain. The injury rules him from a trip to Anfield and next month the world qualifiers in England against Anrořra and Serbia.
Arsenal Captain Martin Odegaard is also a doubt about Liverpool’s match after suffering shoulder injuries in the same victory against Leeds. The Norwegian player appeared in pain when he was replaced in the first half and reportedly left the Emirates stadium with his shoulder in a sling. Although he was not officially excluded on Sunday, Arsenal remains carefully optimistic that neither jacket nor Ødegaard will face long -term dismissal.
There is a special relief on the jacket, which missed three months last year due to injury to hamstring. Arsenal, however, has a deeper attacking pool this season with the summer signatures Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Ebechi Eze providing opportunities. Mikel Arteta also has Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman to cover the absence of jacket and Ødegaard.
After the match Leeds, Artta, she expressed concern about Saka’s condition. “Bukayo ran with the ball and he felt something in his hamstring. He’s the other one, not the same as last season. He felt something when sprinting; it’s not a good sign. We have to wait how long he will be out.
According to the BBC Sport, the jacket is expected to be displaced for three to four weeks, which is a more favorable result than it originally fears. After missing three months with his next hamstring last year, the loss of limping against Leeds naturally evoked anxiety among fans.
The jacket will now be missing a trip to Anfield and after the September international break faces potential absence for demanding accessories against Nottingham Forest and Manchester City. Meanwhile, the uncertainty continues over the availability of Odegaard, and Artta lets his team carefully driven before a demanding schedule.
