The main General of the Army Ubendra Dwivedi praised the Sindoor operation as a key intelligence mission that redefined the Indian anti -terrorist approach, which represents the ability of the armed forces to deal with development war challenges and readiness for fifth generation conflicts on Monday (August 4, 2025).
General Dwivedi has launched a research facility “AgniShodh”, a joint project of the Indian Army Research Cell (IARC) and the IIT Madras campus on the campus for self -confidence in defense.
The address of the Assembly on IIT Madras on the topic “Sindoor-Nova chapter in the Indian fight against terrorism”, General Dwivedi described the operation as an indicative point, a news reaction that redefined the Indian anti-terrorism doctrine.
Unprecedented operation
He noted that the 88 -hour operation was unprecedented on scale, range, depth and strategic impact and was performed across the dime spectrum. He emphasized the evolving nature of the war and stressed that the Indian armed forces were prepared for the fifth generation conflicts driven by non -contact war, strategic pace and psychological dominance.
He emphasized the obligation of the Indian army to self-sufficiency within the “swadeshicaran with sashacticaran”, outlined key cooperation in national technological missions such as Indiaai, Chip-to-Startup and Project Quil, with MCTE MHOW as a strategic partner.
He appreciated the projects carried out by the Indian Army cells in IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IISC Bengalur using academic innovations.
Visit Officers Training of Academy
General DwiVedi also visited officers Training Academy (OTA), where he was informed about the infrastructure of the Academy, modern methodologies of training and initiatives that committed themselves to preparing future military leaders for current challenges.
He praised the efforts of the instructional staff in promoting the perfection and instilling the basic military values between cadets.
During his address, General Dwivedi emphasized the transformation path of the Indian army and emphasized the changing character of the war, which was marked by the conflicts of the gray zone, technological democratization and the need for integrated responses.
During resistance to Sindoor surgery, he stated that the offensive Tri-Services showed India’s ability to provide accurate, repressive and coordinated steps that Pakistan forced a ceasefire within 88 hours.
He stressed that future conflicts would require a mixture of conventional force and modern abilities where “shoes must share robots”. He repeated the obligation of the Indian army to the “decade of transformation” through various reforms.
