The US Central Command has released a video showing the first “100 hours” of Operation Epic Fury, a joint US-Israeli military campaign against Iran that it says has killed several top Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and destroyed key military and government infrastructure. The military described the operation as “the deadliest and most complex air operation ever conducted”, with video showing airstrikes on Iranian targets and US fighter jets launching combat missions from aircraft carriers. The offensive began on November 28 with heavy strikes on Tehran, after which the attacks spread to multiple locations throughout Iran. Tehran retaliated with missile attacks on Israel and attacks on US bases in the Persian Gulf, while US-Israeli forces also targeted Hezbollah positions in Lebanon and Iranian naval facilities near Sri Lanka. The widening conflict raised fears of a wider regional war.
