Arjun Tendulkar lit up the T20 Mumbai League and earned a huge standing ovation in the dressing room

Arjun Tendulkar produced a spectacular all-round performance to lead Arcs Andheri to an impressive nine-wicket win over Bandra Blasters in the T20 Mumbai League 2026. The young all-rounder received a standing ovation in the dressing room led by team captain Shivam Dube after the match-winning innings at the Wankhede Stadium.

This extraordinary performance comes as a massive boost for Arjun, who spent most of the recent IPL 2026 season on the sidelines, featuring just the solitary match for Lucknow Super Giants. When he returned to the home ground, his brilliant exploits were captured in a heartwarming post-match video that surfaced on social media, showing captain Dube leading a rousing ovation for the young left-hander in the dressing room.

The emphatic win was also a crucial arc of redemption for Arcs Andheri. Just a day before, the team suffered a heartbreaking seven-run defeat against Aakash Tigers after letting a winning position slip away, so this dominant victory was incredibly sweet for the entire team.

A video on social media further captured captain Shivam Dube walking around the room to highlight and celebrate the other top performers who made the dominant chase possible.

“We have not one but two backbones in our team. They are Ajay Mishra and Musheer Khan,” Dube said addressing the team. He further added, “Awesome start from Divyaansh, special knock from Musheer.”

HOW ARJUN TENDULKAR SHINED IN MUMBAI T20 LEAGUE

Arjun completely dismantled Bandra Blasters by dominating both halves of the cricket match. He began his demolition job with the ball, blasting through the opposition line-up and registering phenomenal figures of 3/11 in his three overs, which remarkably included a maiden over. His lethal spell, along with crucial breakthroughs from teammates like Prasoon Singh, successfully stifled the Blasters’ scoring and restricted them to a modest 144/9.

When it came time to chase 145, Arjun swapped his bowling pins for the willow and produced an absolute master class of batting. After opener Divyaansh Sksena provided a quick 26-run panel, Arjun joined forces with Musheer Khan to take the game away from the Blasters completely.

The dynamic duo put together a massive, unbeaten partnership of 116 runs for the second wicket. Arjun led the charge by smashing a brutal 66* off just 34 balls while Musheer played the perfect foil with a classy 54* off 38 deliveries. Their explosive batting saw Arcs Andheri cross the finish line in just 13.5 overs to complete the chase with 37 balls to spare in a truly flawless T20 display.
