Member of Parliament Arak and leader YSRCP GUMMA Thanuja Rani claimed on Sunday that the state government ignores the health of children in tribal schools in the Parvatipuram Manyam area with a quotation of 11 deaths in the last five months.
In a press release, she said two students died of jaundice and 28 others were admitted to King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam. She urged to establish a roy of plants at all schools and universities to ensure safe drinking water for students.
Dr. Thanuja Rani, who is a professional doctor, also asked the government to send medical teams to carry out students’ checks and immediately take the necessary measures to deal with the health crisis. It claimed that the NDA government was least harassed by students’ education and health, although the previous Jagan Mohan Reddy Government provided all facilities in educational institutions. She called on the National Commission for Planned Tribes to order the investigation of the poor state of tribal students in the Parvatipuram-Manyam district and other tribal regions of the state.
